About the App

The app clusters a selected part of the camera image into up to 10 representative colors. It then lists the top 50 matching color names, Munsell values, and model paints. Users can select and save a color with GPS and comments.

Saved data is shown in a list view with representative image and color. The list can be exported as CSV.

Individual entries can be exported as JPG files with the original photo and clustered image.

Note: actual colors may differ due to camera quality, screen rendering, or printer output.

This app was originally created for soil color recording using the Munsell Soil Color Chart, but can be used for many purposes.

New in v2.6:

Now supports CIDE2000 and ∆Eab for more accurate color difference calculation.

Display formats include Hex RGB, RGB, Lab, CMYK, and HSV.

Model paint matching added (Mr. Color & Gaia Notes).

Disclaimer: Color data is based on RGB values. Use only as reference.
